The Sandpiper Tank is a woven sleeveless top with two neckline and styleline variations that allow you to play with mixing prints, colors, and textures. You can also omit the styleline to create a solid version in one fabric, or play with contrast binding on the neckline and armholes.
The silhouette is loose and airy, and the front and back of this style are symmetrical.
This style features:
-
Flattering curved hemline sits above the full hip.
-
Generous side seam allowance for future size adjustments.
-
High neckline for minimal cleavage/chest exposure.
-
Symmetrical front and back for a potentially "reversible" garment.
-
Specially developed "petite plus grading" ensures a consistent silhouette across the full size range.

Loved using a pattern made for my body type! Great fit, and great for scrap busting! I made two the day the pattern came out, and I wore one today to work - super comfortable all day. The pattern instructions are clear, and I learned a new-to-me technique for bias binding on a v-neck. I will definitely be making more to wear with sweaters this fall!!
This pattern is quite brilliant. Not only is is designed to be remade in different ways with the colourblock changes making it a super bang for your buck, but it's been designed with a deep understanding of petite plus bodies. There's reason behind each design element, there's great additional adjustment info, the instructions are perfect. I will return to this pattern over and over!
